Wild Yoga. In the Forest

Wild Yoga. In the Forest Being Wild and Free

Being alone in nature while at the same time being surrounded by life.

Forests. Beautiful ecosystems of life. Trees, flora, fauna, air, earth, water. All supporting each other. So much life in one place. Yet when you enter a Forest there is a feeling of calm serenity. Breathe in the air of a forest and you breathe in life. The scents. The sounds. The colours. The textures. Be quiet in a forest and you will understand that you are connected to everything. You are never alone.

Trees remind us to stay grounded, stay connected with our roots, to keep growing, even in the storms of life. Like trees we are all unique and individual and should embrace our natural beauty. Trees remind us that if we grow strong roots and stay grounded, we can bend in the winds of change instead of breaking.

I love to practice tree pose in the forest …

Wild Tree

Vrksasana

Tree pose embodies the essence of growth and stability, promotes balance and grounding and can help you feel more rooted and connected to the earth. Tree pose builds confidence and reminds us how strong we are as we stand tall with the trees.

Stand tall in the forest, feet grounded into the earth. Firmly rooted. Lift one foot and find balance and stability in the standing leg. Place the lifted leg at your ankle, on the calf or inner thigh of your standing leg. Grow tall like a tree. Grow branches with your arm. Embrace the unique natural beauty of your wild yogi tree.

Being alone in nature while at the same time being surrounded by life. Connection. Unity. Wild yoga in the forest.

Love your life.
